Northface Fleece Shrink?

INTERVIEW WITH MAXIMUM OF JUNIOR AURIA

Cari lettori,
I thank him very much for all the holy ppazienza why we put between him wait, then do not post ... in short, everything and more!

interview

Massimo Hello and welcome to my blog Italian Emerging Writers to introduce you to the public?

Hello Alessandra, start thanking you for the space allotted in this interview. My name is Massimo D'Auria and Junior are an aspiring writer twenty (twenty-one in November) who lives in Naples and studied Modern Literature at the Federico II. I have published two collections of short stories, both without asking for assistance, "The Lives of Others" (Arduino Sacco Editore) and "Black No. 9" (Dream Publishing), I attended some initiative anthology, publishing some of my story, among others, with Perry Lab, 9muse.net, plus an anthology due out in June for the Delos Book (365 erotic stories for a year) that contains, among others, my story. I love to write, but I love to read and I think that every aspiring author should be first and foremost a strong reader, perhaps giving a nice hand to the emerging market and non-fossilized always the same authors. I also collaborate with a reading committee of a publishing house and I'm part of the staff of Writer's dream, a portal on publishing and the emerging writers.

We want to talk a bit about your latest book from dream ADVERTISING Black Edition No. 9? As Why did you choose as the Noir genre and Yellow for these your stories?

"Black No. 9" is a collection of short stories have in common that just the black. But black is not necessarily intended as a noir, because there's more in this collection, in some places you can see a mixture of multiple genres, from noir to the great Italian. Well, I do not think you can set in a specific genre. The stories are nine, and one should not think that the choice of the number of stories (and hence the title) is random, in fact, the title and play your collection on this ambivalence of nine who is found to have different representations, sometimes completely opposite, in different branches della conoscenza.

D'altra parte molte delle mie letture mi hanno influenzato e ispirato, perché cerco di prendere da each of them the good things there. However, I repeat, I think I inspired something in particular.

All the protagonists of the stories are inept. Why did you choose this type of characters for your stories? Why did you choose their point of view to tell the stories?

Certainly many of the characters are weak with the weakness of their baggage, but I think they are completely inept, in fact many of them live not so optimistic, however, situations and try to overcome even if it sometimes choose the easy way out and less clear. What a person should avoid ethically, but unfortunately, reading news articles, we see be followed by many, often too many. I think we should tell both sides of the coin, and not be limited to strong characters and spotless. Every human being has their own spots and weaknesses, you are not stereotypes cut cleanly from the pen / agree to a writer. Their point of view, I was intrigued, I wanted to voice their weaknesses to their being human beings often unlucky (for example, the character of "I, Slut"). Rather than speak of ineptitude so broad spectrum of humanity (even when the characters are not human).

What are the authors and works that have influenced your writing style?

What is your creative process? What do you like to do while you write?

My creative process is very simple, I have to be in complete silence with the door closed, I am less disturbed the better. I know people who write music or even with people around, I can not understand how you can do. Obviously it is my limit, but I love, as mentioned above, the absolute silence. If there is any noise that disturbs me, I stop until it disappears. Every now and then I'll stop while I'm writing a couple of minutes and then resume, but sometimes I also write non-stop for an hour or more, depends a little 'how I feel.

Tell us about the other works?

So I think it is useless to talk of the stories appeared in the anthology, the two lines written in early enough to introduce and advance, even if I am waiting with interest the release of the anthology Delos. As for "The Lives of Others" is always a collection of short stories, but has little or nothing in common with Black # 9, it is more introspective tales that have their focus not on action, but on the emotions of the characters, their reflections about the situations that they live for one reason or another. Perhaps the only common point between the two works is the deal with lives that are, however, for some reasons and some ways to the limit.

Certamente vedere il mio nome sulla copertina di un mio libro mi ha fatto tremendamente piacere, I think it is just an emotion, but there was also the realization that my work was not finished there, on the one hand because I knew I needed to improve, the other because I had to embark in post-publication fact I think that for an emerging author the most difficult thing is to be known and be read.

What is the main reason why until now have only written short stories?

I write because I prefer to tell the story-form, that I have said over and over again, and I think I will be able to write better stories. In any case I tried to write a novel, but after several attempts so far have not arrived yet nothing. We will see in the future.

What do you think of Italian publishing? What advice to other writers? Do you have any site or blog where they can follow?

I think the publishing landscape is very intricate, there are some things that I like very much. A publishing on all pay, I think the author should never pay to post, but that should be paid to write. Think about whether a worker should pay for their main work in a factory, it would be absurd. My advice to emerging authors are mainly two: Do \u200b\u200bnot pay to publish, to read a lot (even emerging authors and emerging, not only the usual suspects), only comparing to other writers (known e non) si può crescere stilisticamente ed anche dal punto di vista contenutistico. Dove possiamo comprare i tuoi libri?
