Alessandra Hello, hello to everyone. I introduce myself with pleasure, my name is Fanny Di Natale, even if everyone in the world of the Web knows me as Fanny Goldrose. I'm a writer but also a mom and a wife like many others. By day I drown in paperwork in the office where I earn my bread, but then I crop in the spaces with care, I love writing because I like to imagine that in my pages players / readers can get lost and dream away from everyday life that sometimes seems too narrow.

Dark Angel is your second novel, and there also is a novel for teenagers. Why just write young adult novels? Have you ever thought of writing something for an audience of older adults?

thought yes I've got, I always think much everything. For now I write Young Adult novels only because of the age that I have lived, that I remember it as the most eventful and one in which I was more open to change and are willing to believe in dreams.

Sono stata accolta meravigliosamente e una volta loggata ho scoperto un mondo fatto di impegno e costanza, di amicizia e perseveranza, nonché di gran talento, sincerità e altruismo. Per gioco o per sfida verso me stessa ho dato il via a Dark Angel sottoforma di Fan Fiction, mentre in contemporanea leggevo, commentavo e partecipavo alla messa a punto dei lavori altrui. L’investitura non è arrivata subito, ma dopo un periodo di scambio e collaborazione reciproca.

Rimanendo nel tema "Dark Angel" questo è anche il tuo primo romanzo paranormale. Come mai questa scelta e questo cambiamento di genere?

Adoro gli angeli e adoro le storie d’amore. Ho amato Twilight e i suoi vampiri, come amo i protagonisti della saga dei Rochester. Ho voluto provare ad esplorare un mondo e direi che non mi sarebbe potuto piacere di più.

Come mai hai scelto come soggetti angeli e demoni e non ti sei fatta influenzare dai vampiri della tue colleghe?

Venivo da un percorso in onore dei romanzi sugli angeli, ma fino ad ora poco riusciti. Dentro di me sentivo di dovere una storia con i fiocchi a quelle creature con le ali che hanno sempre cercato di uscire dalle mie pagine per farli volare a modo mio. I demoni… Beh! Dove esiste il bianco dev’esserci spazio anche per il nero.

Nel tuo romanzo si può trovare qualcosa di autobiografico? Non solo come aspetto esteriore o comportamenti ma anche come pensieri riguardo ad un certo argomento?

Ho sempre creduto fermamente nel fatto che un libro sia il racconto veritiero o distorto, magari un po’ smussato o arricchito ma delle sensazioni o degli episodi vissuti da chi lo scrive.

Cosa ti aspettavi con la pubblicazione di questo romanzo? Quali erano le tue aspettative? Cosa è stato soddisfatto and what is not?
I expect to have fun and I enjoyed the thrill and passion to achieve it and I must say it happened more than I expected. What has been met? Certainly the desire to do good work and see that it is appreciated ... What has not been met? This will tell my readers.

you expecting a response from readers than positive? Why and what do you think?

To be honest I always try not to expect anything. I'm very self-critical but every time I read Dark Angel we find all that I hoped to convey so I think if you can put on paper the emotions, the reader does not can only agree.

What was the inspiration that drove you to write dark angel? When you came to mind this story and then how you developed?

all started from one image to find in any search engine. I typed in "Angels" and I opened up a world in a manner that I had never considered: that of struggle and suspense to be seasoned with the love that I have always given instead.

What makes your angels and your demons? what are the new elements that you put in these two different supernatural beings?

have to be supernatural but with a daily in which to find myself. The context is almost naive and the atmosphere easy. The characters have a history, a point of departure and an arrival that are woven into scenarios also lived by ordinary people. Daniel fall in love because it is a mess, but with the grit between your fingers ready to explode in times of need. And Alex? He is the transgression, the beauty, the challenge to win. Rose however is all of us in his normal clothes, but ready to pull out the nails in the name of life and love.

From the first draft of the text that readers face when reading has anything changed? There have been some radical changes?

Ci sono stati certo. Ci sono sempre. Il romanzo nasce da un’idea ma poi si sviluppa, si corregge e si perfeziona strada facendo.

Durante la stesura del tuo manoscritto hai incontrato il cosiddetto blocco dello scrittore? Se si come sei riuscita a superarlo?

Nessun blocco, questo no. Mi è capitato però in passato ma non ho mai tentato di superarlo. Se arriva il blocco, archivio e passo oltre cominciando una storia nuova. Ritengo sia inutile accanirsi laddove non si ha più niente da dire.

Hai incontrato altre difficoltà? Come sei riuscita a superarle e a terminare il racconto?

La mia difficoltà più grande risiede nella trama. Rischio sempre to lose but so are the Bloody Roses. If you run out of petrol or go out of the way they always involved bringing to the track.

What is your creative process? Do something in particular?

No. 's just instinct. I open a page in Word, choose a title and begin.

What authors or books that you have formed? Those who prefer and who inspires you?

Moccia Certainly the school has taught me simplicity. I love his books and the main reason is the environment of lives lived and everyday contexts. Adoro però anche Cohelo, Tracy Chevalier e sicuramente J.K.Rowling anche se loro scrivono in modo totalmente diverso e meravigliosamente unico.

Mi hanno detto che non ti sei immaginata degli attori per Alex, Dan e Rose. Ora sei liberamente costretta a sceglierne 3 per ognuno dei protagonisti cosicchè io possa placare la mia voglia di scoprire come te li eri immaginati.

Sotto tale costrizione mi piego allora al volere della curiosità, ma tre volti per ognuno sono un po’ troppi a mio avviso… Troviamo un compromesso: ti indicherò un volto per ognuno almeno per dare l’idea e scegliendo rigorosamente attori italiani: per Rose scelgo Martina Stella for Daniel Kim Rossi Stewart and Alex Raul Bova classics ... ok, but at least know them all:-P

What is the character that you're more connected? One with which you're more fun to write?

Definitely Rose. She's the one that best embodies my joys and my fears, my successes and my disappointments.

Hello everyone and thanks to you Alex for the space that you leave me your blog. Who tell me? Well, I'm 20 years old and Naples. I write since I have 5, and I think that since I did not want nor able to do more. Necrophylia is my first novel. For my part I love everything that comes out of the guts, I love the stories gut. I love the tormented souls. I hate any kind of academic and I am convinced that the word intellectual is the ugliest word in our vocabulary. Like, art, stay in touch with sincere people who are put into play to the end and that does not leave anything of themselves, from the noblest to the most abject. I admire those people who can tell their pain without complaints, without fear of suffering even more in the telling. In everyday life I can find one minute to read Dostoevsky and the next minute to watch an episode of Big Brother. I would say, then, are a pretty varied! ^ ^

Your first novel is Necrophylia you wrote at the young age of 19. What was the inspiration that led you to writing this manuscript?

Usually when I start to write something inspired from a flash I went per la testa. Anche per Necrophylia è stato così. Da quel flash comincio a lavorare per tirare fuori qualcosa di concreto. Di solito cerco sempre di sviluppare le mie storie nel modo più grottesco e paradossale possibile. Mi piace mettere in discussione il sentire comune. Non dare mai niente per scontato. Mi piace provocare e lasciare il lettore sull'abisso di un baratro, togliergli, almeno cercare di farlo, tutte le sue certezze, le sue sicurezze. Mi piace destabilizzare. Miro, quando scrivo, a lasciare al lettore, una volta finito di leggere, una sensazione di malessere alla pit of the stomach, a sense of anxiety which leads to the question.

How did the idea of \u200b\u200bwriting about a topic so different and unconventional in some ways. The necrophylia. There are not many books like yours. Why this choice?

Per me lo scrittore non deve insegnare, deve solo raccontare e mettere in gioco completamente il proprio io.

Il romanzo è scritto il prima persona. C'è qualcosa di autobiografico come pensieri, azioni, emozioni che si rispecchiano anche in te?


Logicamente la storia in sè non ha nulla di autobiografico. Però molti dei pensieri del protagonista sono i miei. Non tutti, a dire il vero. In verità c'è una piccola parte di me in ogni personaggio che descrivo. E' così di solito che faccio: cerco di scompormi e lascio un pezzo di me in ognuno dei miei personaggi.


How would you describe your novel using an adjective? Why?


Well, I'd certainly grotesque. If I use the second I would say sadly. Grotesque, certainly for what he describes and the cynicism with which it does. Melancholy because behind the apparent cynicism hides a great sadness and, indeed, a sweet melancholy.

Com' è stato il tuo processo di pubblicazione? La tua ricerca di una casa editrice?


Beh, quando ho pubblicato Necrophylia ne sapevo veramente poco del mondo dell'editoria. Ho firmato uno dei primi contratti che mi arrivarono. In ogni caso, ora che ho un pò più di esperienza, non posso non accorgermi di quanto complicato sia questo mondo e di come sia difficile muoversi al suo interno.


Quali sono i tuoi autori e/o libri preferiti? Quelli che ti hanno formato?


Amo molto la letteratura americana. Come riferimenti non posso non citare Palahniuk, Kerouac, Ellis, Roth. Alcuni scritti francesi, soprattutto quelli più esistenzialisti, per esempio Sartre, mi affascinano molto. Tra le nuove scoperte ho da poco letto un paio di romanzi dell'italiano Trevisan e mi ha colpito molto. Poi non posso non citare il mio scrittore preferito, Dostoevskij. Un uomo ed uno scrittore senza pari, la cui personalità mi ha sicuramente influenzato moltissimo.

No, non ho niente del genere. Però cercando sul web si possono trovare diverse informazioni su Necrophylia. Diciamo che sto cercando di farlo conoscere in giro il più possibile.


Quali sono i tuoi progetti futuri? Ci puoi svelare qualcosa?

Hello Robert, welcome to my blog Italian Emerging Writers. Would you like to introduce yourself to readers?

A: Hello and thank the space. So, I'm 33 years old and almost 3 are happily back big baby, I'm a devourer of books of many genres (the important thing is that the story attracted me, then do not watch too cataloging) and since the "youngest" I have the ball of writing. After many attempts, fortunately trashed, got the basic idea for "The Book of Mysteries" that kept me busy for several years in preparation by using the free time (when there), and has saw the light in June last year.

Your first novel is "The Book of Mysteries." How would you describe it? What would you say to readers that you are reading to entice them to read your book?

A: The Book of Mysteries is a novel that plays a lot with the adventure, but without forgetting a touch of originality to see out a bit 'from the classic (and sometimes boring ...) schemes. So do not expect the usual heroes sboroni leaving the salvation of the world without fear, brandishing weapons to pieces the bad guys with a single flick of the wrist, but very human characters that are revealed in full with all their humanity, with their fears and anxieties, joys and sorrows as shown by each of us finding, from one day to another, thrown into a reality much larger. And expect a lively style, peppered with dialogues, where one can find irony and sarcasm to make reading more enjoyable. "Write as you'd like to read" the only rule that I gave (apart from inside the story, of course), and since I can not stand a rhythm too flat and full of descriptions, I tried to create a story that bet a lot about the characters, trying to characterize them and make them believable as possible.


tell us how was your experience in publishing and how you felt when you finally you could publish a book?
A: Look, obviously the top is taken by a kind of excitement because you believe that everything will go as you imagine. Well, soon that attitude of "bell'addormentato in the forest" will pass. The book came out with a contributing editor, is the only publisher to whom I sent the script (at the suggestion), and when the answer came, after about four months, I thought to take home copies of it were a custom usual publishing. Obviously over time I found out that it is a usual practice, but negative. "Il libro dei misteri" è un romanzo fantasy. Come mai scegli questo genere? E' quello che preferisci anche come lettore oppure è stata una scelta casuale?
R: Potrei subito darti la risposta più trivial and obvious, that is the fantasy that allows you to unleash the imagination and give vent to your dreams, out for a few hours from reality, etc. etc.. But it's something that, frankly, I care less. Or at least, may be interested as a "player" but not as a "writer". The fantasy gives you the opportunity you carry themes present in reality in a fictional, of your complete fabrication, and use them as you could not do if creassi, I know, a story set in any reality. Ecco, per fare un paio di esempi, quello che ti permette il fantasy: trasportare dei tuoi concetti in un mondo dove ciò potrebbe essere plausibile…


Quanto di autobiografico c'è nei protagonisti del tuo romanzo? C'è qualcuno che ti assomiglia e che tu preferisci agli altri?
R: Autobiografico ben poco, anche perché quel personaggio avrebbe rischiato di diventare decisamente insopportabile. Non troverete una copia dell’autore nella storia, anche se uno dei protagonisti a corso il grande rischio di assomigliargli parecchio mentre veniva “costruito”. Fortunatamente per lui, non ho calcato troppo la mano. Ce ne sono due che, per motivi diversi, sono quelli che preferisco: una è Ydael, della quale parleremo più sotto. L’altro è Kilian: acido, burbero, scontroso, di poche ma pericolose parole e dai modi che vanno dritti al punto, più di una volta ha rischiato di prendersi la scena tutta per se. Spesso ho faticato non poco per mettergli le briglie, ma alla fine sono riuscito a non fargli prendere uno spazio troppo esagerato…


Qual è stata l'ispirazione che ti ha spinto a scrivere questo romanzo?
R: Come spiegavo poco sopra, è stata una serie di pensieri riguardanti l’uso che la religione cristiana, ma non solo quella, fa di alcuni oggetti che sono diventati di culto col passare dei secoli, e dei quali conosciamo ben poco. L’ambientazione fantasy mi permetteva di costruire una storia dove inventare un oggetto simile, e farne la linea guida per la first half of the narrative. Una curiosità personale. Essendo un fantasy, il libro è caratterizzato da nomi non consueti. E' stato facile o difficile per te inventarli?
R: Né facile né difficile, è stato divertente. Non puoi utilizzare, in un fantasy, nomi comuni alla nostra realtà. Credo che ne risentirebbe anche la storia. L’importante è creare nomi non troppo complicati, facili per il lettore da ricordare e associare alla caratteristiche fisiche del personaggio. Nomi semplici e, magari, con un buon suono che non influiscono negativamente nella lettura.

Qual è stata stata la difficoltà più grande nello scrivere questo romanzo e come sei riuscito a superala?
R: Sicuramente trovare il tempo per farlo. Questo romanzo ha avuto una gestazione lunghissima per una infinità di motivi. Intanto il lavoro, che ti consente di metterti seduto a scrivere tranquillo solo dopo cena quando va bene, poi vari eventi famigliari conditi da parecchi traslochi. Per almeno dieci anni, prima di essere terminata la stesura del libro ha subito pause enormi, stavo anche mesi e mesi senza riuscire a proseguire la storia, tanto che ad un certo punto pensavo quasi di abbandonare il tutto. Poi, tornato a casa dopo la fine di una storia durata qualche anno, ho ritrovato il tempo e soprattutto la voglia di riprendere in mano l’idea. Ovviamente col passare degli anni cambia il modo di esprimersi, e così il romanzo ha subito un ribaltone dall’inizio fino alla fine.


Cosa ne pensi del panorama editoriale in relazione agli scrittori esordienti?
R: Penso che faccia abbastanza schifo. Tolti coloro che riescono ad arrivare alle case editrici decenti, unendo alla bravura personale la fortuna di aver trovato persone serie decise a puntare sui loro scritti, il panorama della media-piccola editoria è piuttosto rivoltante. Ci sono quelle editrici che, anche in questo panorama, ti pubblicano senza chiedere contributi o altre clausole simili nei contratti, ma da quello che ho potuto sentire in giro con i vari esordienti che ho avuto il piacere di conoscere in quest’ultimo anno, l’editoria a contributo/pagamento è una piaga che non accenna a diminuire. Ormai mi sono fatto una idea personale dopo aver sbagliato la prima volta, namely, that the kind of publication should be a last resort. The rookie Italian is seen more like a chicken that can pluck talent on which to bet, you are attracted to words that promise a lot but then eventually make anything. What are your future plans? Is there any news that you can show us?
A: I finished in April a second novel, longer and more complex and ambitious of "The Book of Mysteries," which is currently under editing work with a person who knows how. Remains in the field of fantasy, but without the usual search for the object usually by someone who must save the world. I tried something that would go beyond this track, and write it was as exciting as hard. I do not know when (and if ...) will be released for all the reasons I listed in the previous question.

Ciao Roberta benvenuta nel mio blog Italian Emerging Writers. Ti va di presentarti ai lettori?

I am an Italian writer of historical romances. I published my first book in 1997, is 'The Novels Mondadori' and I have never stopped. At the time I have published 21.

Your latest published novel is "The tale of Bella," Would you talk about? When did the idea for this novel?

This is a question which I can not ever respond. I do not know when or how the ideas take shape, usually the stories seem to sprout leaves and flowers and put on their own. But I know that I wanted to write something that had ambience di una fiaba moderna, e credo di esserci riuscita.

Quando e come è comiciata questa passione per la scrittura? E quando hai capito che poteva essere più di un semplice passatempo?

Ovviamente da bambina volevo fare la scrittrice! E ho sempre buttato giù qualche idea, un po’ come quel personaggio di Hemingway, che non faceva che dirsi: potrei scrivere di questo! Lui non c’è mai riuscito, io invece qualcosa ho messo insieme. Da quando ho iniziato a spedire dattiloscritti –e a vedermeli tornare indietro- la scrittura ha smesso all’istante di essere un passatempo ed è diventata something serious, which committed the mind and soul.

Tell us a little about your experiences for publication? It 'been easy or hard to find a publisher to publish your books?

For you, how important is the historical setting and the accuracy with which it describes?
For me the priority is to have the story (the plot) and the characters. A meno di non star scrivendo un vero e proprio romanzo storico, l’ambientazione costituisce lo sfondo su cui si muovono, non l’elemento principale.


Scrivi romanzi rosa. Cosa ne pensi tu dell'amore?
Che vuoi che ti dica? A costo di essere banale, penso che sia il motore autentico della vita. L’amore è ovunque, e si incarna in ogni cosa.


Cosa ne pensi delle altre scrittrici rosa italiane?


Credo che stiano facendo un buon lavoro, aprendo spazi al romance ‘Italian Style’.


Quali sono i tuoi progetti futuri? Hai in cantiere altri romanzi per le tue lettrici?
Sto scrivendo un’antologia natalizia e poi, una volta terminata, passerò ad un paranormale di cui ho già scritto un centinaio di pagine. Inoltre nei primi mesi del 2011 uscirà un romanzo con Harlequin.


Hai blog o siti dove possiamo seguirti?
Non per il momento, ma mi sto adoperando per il sito.

Ciao Stefania, benvenuta nel mio blog Italian Emerging Writers. Ti va di presentarti al pubblico?

Volentieri. Sono di Palermo, 35 anni, con due bambini e un marito che apprezza questa mia passione. Scrivo da quando avevo sedici anni e devo dire che, sia pure tra alti e bassi, non ho mai smesso.
Per il resto, sono una persona normalissima.

Ci parli del tuo primo libro Hidden in the dark pubblicato in marzo dalla collana Rosso Cuore? Come è stata questa tua first experience of publication?


Hidden was an "experiment" difficult, first because, in general, Italian readers do not like the stories, and secondly because I wanted enticed without revealing too much of my stories. In addition, nearly three months since I can say with sincerity: I feared the opinion of the player king, says Barbara Risoli.


Instead, the results were ... fantastic. I have no other way to describe the warmth and appreciation that have surrounded this little book and I can only thank those who continue to support me and him. Scrivi di vampiri. Cosa ti affascina e ti attrae di questa figura soprannaturale?


Il tempo che scorre loro addosso, la capacità di guardare to human beings without poetry that often characterizes us. The two main characters change, and a lot, but never completely abdicate their true nature. Oliver is and remains a murderess, Samuel, who also experienced the hard way human love, it melts in sorrow for his past. It's part of him, and he will not and can not give it up.


Your passion for vampires born as coneguenza boom of paranormal romance books that there was in this period in Italy and is rooted in you the longest?

If I say that my first, true novel at sixteen was about a vampire in New York ... Well, I think that shows that my "sources" are far from fashion. The setting of your story is more specifically Scotland Edinburgh and Moray Place. What binds you to these places?


Karma? No, joke ... In truth, I do not know: it's a question I get asked by many. I only know that I have been to Scotland twice and in both cases I felt a deep sense of belonging. Edinburgh took my heart and left me no more.


When I got the inspiration for these stories? And more specifically for the characters of Samuel and Oliver?

While the Lady in Violet was born as the desire to tell the life of Samuel and Oliver in their "everyday life", the other two stories are two "fixed points", two points in their long life. Two snapshots, in short, in which I have crystallized their thoughts. They are part of the saga I wrote, and have their exact location.


As for my characters, I can say that arise from images, from ideas that I had inside. The moment I started the PC, have come out by themselves, with their characteristics that make them very different and yet similar.

There are actors or models, in particular, embody the image you have in mind these two characters?

I thought about it later, really. Samuel is the most difficult. I can not find an angelic face and perverse like his eyes that go all that ... no, I can not say more! (Spoilers!)

If I find an actor, I can Alessio Boni, Oliver, is simpler: Cliwe Owen is a good starting point ... but with less pronounced features. More aristocrats.

What are the authors who have most influenced you?

Many. The narrators in contemporary Scottish First: Rankin, Mc Call Smith and Welsh. Then the great classics of English literature, so I have a real reverence, P. Gregory, The Ward, JK Rowling (absolutely), and then many more ... la lista è lunga. Sono del parere che si debba leggere moltissimo, e diversi generi, per poter scrivere bene.

Ci puoi svelare qualcosa sul tuo prossimo libro? Qualche succosa news in anteprima per noi?

Vorrei potervi dare qualcosa di succoso, come una pubblicazione... ma ahimè non ve ne è traccia! La saga di Moray Place 12, 3 volumi, è terminata e adesso sono all'opera su un progetto totalmente diverso. Spero di poter trovare un Editore ( con la E, appunto) coraggioso che si fidi delle mie storie e punti su di me, dandomi la possibilità di farmi conoscere. Non perché non mi sia trovata bene con la 0111, quanto per avere maggiore visibilità. E 'futile to be hypocritical on this point.


What do you think of Italian publishing in relation to emerging authors?


What is difficult, with high barriers to entry and difficult to overcome. You write too much and read too little, and this at the expense of quality. The response time for a manuscript may get one year ... provided that you give the the answer. And then you have to be lucky enough to happen in the hands of an editor who is not tired of reading blunders. No a parte gli scherzi ve la consiglio proprio!! Ho letto un suo libro e mi sono assolutamente innamorata dei due protagonisti. Descritti a meraviglia!! Sto adulando l'autrice in un modo pazzesco e poi mi dirà che poi si monta la testa ma credetemi E' DAVVERO BRAVA!!
La ringrazio per la somma pazienza, visto che lo fatta aspettare un'eternità prima di poter fare l'intervista e perchè ho continuato a scocciarla perchè non mi andava la mail. Oltre a questo è davvero una persona gentilissima e disponibile e sono stata molto contenta di poterla intervistare.

Look, I am, and that of the title because I like to write, I write weird, unusual, get out of the box, I try to mange with flights of fancy, professional public without editing, I am thrown to the players, I like to see stars on aNobii climb, shivering on the comments, I respond to provocation and I always thank chi cita il mio nome e chi mi legge. Mi piace scrivere perché mi porta distante, volo alto e poi radente, vivo al buio perché odio la luce, scrivo d’amore e non so se so amare. I miei uomini, quelli che invento, sembrano capaci di farsi adorare; le mie donne, quelle che scrivo, non sempre son simpatiche, ma reggono il confronto. Mi piace il riscatto di Spartaco, anche perché mi piace Spartaco, la vittoria dell’ingiusto o del reietto sulla giustizia presunta del mondo. Parteggio sempre per il più forte che se non lo è all’inizio lo diventa poi, non giustifico l’inettitudine. Che altro dire di me? Bah… passiamo alle altre domande, eh?


Cosa significa per te essere una scrittrice?


Tempo addietro ero solita affermare che scrivere è un po’ come vivere una vita parallela, descrivere luoghi che si rimpiangono o che non si ha mai avuto il piacere di visitare pur desiderandolo. Scrivere per me è dunque esistere su un piano diverso da questo che trovo tedioso, monotono e legato alle leggi degli Uomini che sono a volte senza senso e difficili da sopportare. ‘Biografie interiori’ definisco dunque i miei romanzi che raccontano di ciò che non siamo e di ciò che non vogliamo (parafrasando il grande poeta Montale).


Tell us a little bit your creative process?


Creativity has always been an integral part of me, but that of thought, because from an artistic impact is a disaster (my design could entertain a lot). I write for a long time since I was 14, although the first novel I have compiled my 16 (and, for the record, I have 40 years until June 7, 8, I'll be 41 ... these are important details!) . If I am asked what was the process itself, well ... if I have to tell the plain truth, I have a commitment in writing to typing. No, it is a joke, is the simple truth: are accountant, but the first year I have found to risk a typing test in September. The exercises of the book were a boring disarming, on the typewriter I fell asleep there. Then I started to write a novel without regard to errors, and just writing, chattering like crazy. Writing paper in the evening I wore to school and read them the last row. The novel is like typing in 10 and has saved me from the examination. This is the beginning, perhaps unusual, but good excuse to not stop and so I went on writing ten novels in a few years, some definitely censorship (in the sense that they are crap, objectively), others ... well, have been published and they state leggendo.


Quali sono i libri che preferisci? Quelli che ami rileggere?


I miei due cult sono diametralmente opposti (come ogni cosa di me del resto), il primo in assoluto è l’Odissea di Omero che amo e rileggo sempre volentieri (il mio amore per Ulisse non è un mistero), il secondo è Via col vento che trovo la più bella storia di rancore, un esempio di romance (mi si concede il termine?) completamente fuori dalle righe. I due protagonisti così insoliti mi hanno sempre affascinata, anche se certe smancerie le avrei evitate, ma lungi da me penalizzarlo per questo, resta a masterpiece of the genre. tell us how you gained the idea for your novel The poison of the heart and the blood after justice.


Eh, THE POISON OF THE HEART has its biographical implications, there is something of my life in this novel, there's something about me, just maybe ... but the idea came from a ' experience so convoluted that I can not distinguish between focal points, but no matter, the result fully satisfied me. The following JUSTICE OF BLOOD, it was actually an idea I had in mind for a long time. I love the history of the dark implications, those parti che danno adito a più possibilità, i misteri insoluti, le cose strane, le assurdità storiche insomma. Ebbene, rivoltare le convinzioni mi diverte e la convinzione che regge la trama di questo romanzo era allettante ribaltarla, no? Mi servivano due personaggi senza scrupoli, crearne di nuovi rispetto al Veleno del cuore sarebbe stato ripetitivo, allora ho preso Venanzio ed Eufrasia e li ho fatti lavorare un po’.


Ho letto che per scrivere Il veleno del cuore ci ha impiegato (incluso il tempo per la revisione) solo 10 giorni. Come hai fatto? Quando e quanto hai scritto?


Una settimana, non 10 giorni. E’ stato un fiume in piena. Ricordo che era estate, una di quelle estati che io detesto, caldissima, assolatissima, sudatissima, una schifezza per il mio carattere ‘transiberiano’. Unico refrigerio, la notte e di notte ho scritto, sulla terrazza, con la luna e le stelle, una cosa romanticissima… e faticosissima. Mi ci sono buttata a pesce, mi ci sono emozionata, ho anche cancellato metà romanzo per riscriverlo di sana pianta. Insomma, fare le tre di notte per una settimana mi ha poi soddisfatta. Del resto io sono solita scrivere di notte, il giorno non mi ispira molto, lo trovo stancante e troppo luminoso, un po’ come un vampiro… incenerisce le mie idee.


Nella tua duologia incontriamo due personaggi straordinari. Con un carattere molto particolare, ma anche molto realistico che restano stampati nella memoria di chi legge le loro avventure. Come sono nati Eufrasia e Venanzio?


Che restino stampati nella mente di chi legge non può che inorgoglirmi e finirò con il montarmi la testa (cosa assai improbabile, tranquilli… fossi più superba!). Eufrasia, se vogliamo metaforizzare il concetto, nasce da quella parte di me che è rabbia, vittimismo, senso di ingiustizia subita, freno interiore in ottemperanza alle leggi ed all’onestà. Posso affermare senza vergogna che Eufrasia is what I want to be at the bottom (not in all respects, we are talking about a novel, oh!), that is a bit 'colder, a little' more calculating, less attentive to the needs of others at the expense of my short, ... here is an example of a biography inner, but there is something that might be.
Venanzo is the ideal man, the one who solves problems and that do not make too many scruples, the one that loves unconditionally without losing streak that his men that fascinates me precisely because absent in a woman. Venanzio is the bastard that bends without breaking for love, what we do not bat an eyelid before and the wickedness that is capable of climbing a slope with a value burdensome. His character is also linked to something real in my life.


Why did you choose your choice names so special?


I do not know here, I know. But I am that strange name, common name and does not take with me if I use (easy to be slight) reservation in the little colorful characters, pop or inept. Do not ask me why, it's always been so. I love unusual names, my favorite is Arduino and I managed to call my son Edwin! I think the name outside the lines both as a face, remains impressed. But those who forget that one is called Venanzio or called Euphrasia? And if you change These two identities are known and Stolfo and Zoraida ... is the apotheosis.
One scoop ... my next character will be named Folco.


you going to write another book starring Venanzio and Euphrasia? Or starring one of their children?


Caught! Yes ... I would have this intention, only that I have to document a bit 'on the decade following the end of The Justice of the blood and find, as I usually put a gap of mystery where the wit and the ability of the two protagonists. Their children are grown, one of them will have 18 years ... and has some unfinished business in France, sentimental and personal ... I say no more.


Why choose as a setting in France during the French Revolution?

Ci parli un pò anche degli altri libri?

Come detto, mi cimento pure con la fantascienza. Sul fantasy, c’è da dire che non è classico, il fattore fantastico sta in una traslazione nel tempo. La mia capacità (oso?) di saltare da un genere all’altro è forse dovuta al fatto che caratterialmente ho mille interessi e posso fare altrettante cose contemporaneamente. Amo scrivere e amo molte cose, un connubio perfetto… per certi versi.


Com'è stata la tua esperienza di pubblicazione?


Bah, soddisfacente. A parte qualche sbavatura che non dico per non annoiare, posso ritenermi soddisfatta anche se, onestamente, senza star lì a nascondermi dietro un dito, credo di avere la maledizione delle vendite. Non credo di vendere molto… però chi compra è sempre molto soddisfatto e io vivo di questo.


Hai progetti per il futuro?


Tanti! Devo completare la trilogia della SAGA DEL TEMPO (il fantasy mitologico di cui ho parlato), devo scrivere un romance pseudo (attenzione: pseudo) paranormale in ambientazione transilvana (No vampires), I have to write a novel and eschatological ... Yes, I would say one thing. The publications have lately ostiche less than last time, the possibilities are infinite, the number of contacts. Maybe sometimes it's easy to publish, but there's one thing a writer should not forget: success, the real one, il valore, quello vero, il talento, quello vero solo una persona li può sancire: IL LETTORE che per me è sovrano. Forse non tutti lo sapevano questo. E mi si permetta di ringraziare per questa intervista, nonchè per la rilevanza che la stessa mi dà dopo un bellissimo articolo su di me.
